The PROFUSE project uses PRObability Functions for Unbiased Statistical Estimations in multi-filter surveys with the aim of dissect the fundamental galaxy properties and of produce unbiased and accurate posterior distributions over seven topics: estimation of luminosity and mass functions, star-formation properties, stellar populations parameters, morphological and structural properties, AGN activity, the impact of environment and interactions, and high-redshift galaxies (z > 2.5). Putting all these pieces together, the distribution of galaxy properties and its redshift evolution will be estimated with unprecedented accuracy.

The PROFUSE project is currently analysing the multi-filter survey ALHAMBRA, and will be expanded to J-PAS and J-PLUS projects in the future.
